Serving the Region The Reverend Sue Basek Sue Basek was ordained 16 October 2004, and is an Operating and Recovery room nurse at Kootenay Lake Hospital. She was part of the second wave of Mutual Ministry nominations that took place at St. Saviour's in 2000, and then entered into a local diocesan-approved program of discernment, examination, and education culminating — but not ending — with ordination by Archbishop David Crawley.         Rev. Sue is married to her life partner Mike and they have three children: Greg, Paul and Carrie.
